Self introduction: Barry Scott

I have become the new maintainer for the pysvn package on Fedora.

I am the upstream developer for a number of projects including:
* pysvn - <a href="https://pysvn.sourceforge.io/" title="https://pysvn.sourceforge.io/">https://pysvn.sourceforge.io/</a>
* pycxx - <a href="http://cxx.sourceforge.net/" title="http://cxx.sourceforge.net/">http://cxx.sourceforge.net/</a>
* Barry's Emacs - <a href="http://barrys-emacs.org/" title="http://barrys-emacs.org/">http://barrys-emacs.org/</a>
* SCM workbench - <a href="http://scm-workbench.barrys-emacs.org/" title="http://scm-workbench.barrys-emacs.org/">http://scm-workbench.barrys-emacs.org/</a>

These days I tend to develop in python and C++ using PyQt for GUI needs.
The above projects work on Unix, macOS and Windows.

I have been using Fedora since FC4 and maybe before,
too long ago to remember.

I would also like to volunteer to be a co-maintainer of
python-pycxx.

My first task will be to update pysvn to its 1.9.9 release
but that requires pycxx to be updated to its 7.1.2 release
to pick up a needed fix.

I have a review up for the changes to python-pycxx at
<a href="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1685102" title="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1685102">https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1685102</a>

Hi and welcome.

I am sorry but you can't became fedora maintainer with already existing package.
You should suggest new package for that.
<a href="https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers" title="https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers">https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers</a>

Also you can send Pull Requests or talk with python-pycxx maintainer directly.
