HEADS UP: freetype 2.10.0 in rawhide

Hi,

I've rebased freetype to 2.10.0 in rawhide.

poppler soname bump in rawhide

Hi,

I'm going to rebase poppler in rawhide to poppler-0.73.0 at the end of
next week.

There are several API changes and soname bump of the base library
libpoppler.so.*.

Here is scratch-build of poppler-0.73.0:

<a href="http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=32108492" title="http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=32108492">http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=32108492</a>

Btw, if your package uses the unstable API (headers from poppler-devel),
could you consider to change it to use a stable API (glib, qt, C++)?
Also, if your package still uses qt4 frontend, try to use another one
since this was removed in upstream and we have it just as a backup
solution for the time being.

I've checked all packages which depend on the libpoppler.so.* and have
backported/prepared fixes to reflect poppler's API changes.

Unfortunately, libreoffice does not build currently (#1615616).

Move of freetype's header files

As of freetype 2.6.1, freetype's upstream has moved almost all header
files from /usr/include/freetype2/ to /usr/include/freetype2/freetype/.
Only the /usr/include/freetype2/ft2build.h stays on its place.

I plane to push freetype 2.6.1 to master branch at the beginning of the
next week (#1268661).

If your packages use freetype as documented in ft2build.h then you are
ok but in opposite case you'll need to change the path.

I've created a scratch build of the new freetype, you can get it here:
<a href="http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=11332374" title="http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=11332374">http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=11332374</a>

Hi,

I've just rebased freetype in rawhide to freetype-2.6.

There are 2 API changes because of which some packages can fail to build
during next week's mass rebuild.

The first one is that redefinition of function 'labs()' as 'ft_labs()'
was removed.

Move of freetype's header files

As of freetype 2.5.1, freetype's upstream has moved all header files
from /usr/include/freetype/freetype2/ and /usr/include/ft2build.h to
