orphaned aircrack-ng

Hi,

I just orphaned aircrack-ng, it needs more love than I am able to give
it at the moment. It would be great to keep it in the distribution,
though. Unfortunately there are some open bugs but since upstream just
moved to GitHub there is at least hope that there will be bugfixes
eventually.

Rebuilding a lot of packages that fail to build from source (FTBFS)

Hi,

I am currently rebuilding about 1000 packages in Rawhide that were not
properly rebuilt in the last mass rebuild or failed to build. So if you
wonder why I rebuilt your package, this is why. Since it also seems that
the bug reports for the last mass rebuild are lacking the log files, I
might rebuild some more packages to get the log files when I proceed to
file proper bug reports. Afterwards we will re-start a process to
clean-up long time FTBFS packages.

josm orphaned

Hi

I orphaned josm (<a href="https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/josm" title="https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/josm">https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/josm</a>), the java
openstreetmap editor on request by the original maintainer. Please adopt
it. It needs to be updated regularly to follow the current openstreetmap
guidelines, currently it is outdated (also in EPEL).

Orphaning optipng

Hi,

I would like to orphan optipng. It is a PNG compression optimizer that I
do not use anymore. Usually it does not make much work but two CVEs were
published recently. I will fix them and then orphan the package unless
someone would like to adopt it. Please state four FAS name if you like
to take it.

orphaned wyrd

Hi,

I orphaned wyrd, a curses frontend for the remind calendar tool.
Upstream seems to be somehow gone and I do not use anymore therefore I
would not like to spend more time on it. There seems to be at least two
users still interested in it:

Orphaned apvlv, herbstluftwm, xsettingsd and python-tlslite

Hi,

I just orphaned apvlv, herbstluftwm, xsettingsd and python-tlslite. I do
no longer use them and only adopted them because they sounded useful or
I needed them back then. I cannot really tell about their upstream
status, they might not be completely dead. Please pick them up if you
would like to keep them in Fedora. Otherwise I will retire them
eventually.

No retiring of packages with broken deps for Fedora 26

Hi,

since there were too many packages with broken dependencies and we lack
the tooling to properly identify which packages can be safely retired
without endangering the final compose, the current packages with broken
dependencies will not be retired for Fedora 26. We are going to rework
the cleanup process to get a better balance between removing broken
packages and ensuring a safe delivery. There will be new notifications
when things are worked out.

Are MP3 files now permitted in Fedora packages?

Hi,

Since Fedora now ships a MP3 decoder, does the Code vs Content section
in the Packaging Guidelines[0] now need a update to allow MP3 file or
are MP3 files still not permitted?

Orphaned oflb-riordonfancy-fonts

Hi,

I just orphaned oflb-riordonfancy-fonts - it is a FTBFS package I tried
to save from retirement a while ago thinking that maintaining a font
should not be that hard. However I realized I do not have the time to
get to understand why it does not build. Therefore I orphaned it for now
and will retire it later if nobody adopts it.

Kind regards
