Orphaning many Java packages (big list)

Hello everybody,

It's actually a sad mail, because I just orphaned many packages. These
packages was a big chunk of my work around 2012 where I was busy with
packaging JBoss AS 7 (later renamed to WildFly). You can see the
feature here: <a href="https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/JBossAS7" title="https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/JBossAS7">https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/JBossAS7</a> and the
status of unbelivable work done by many people in pacakging an
reviewing these packages: <a href="https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/JBossAS7" title="https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/JBossAS7">https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/JBossAS7</a>.

I would like to thank Stano Ochotnicky, Alex Kurtakov, Mikołaj
Izdebski, Ricardo Arguello, Juan Hernández, Pierre-Yves Chibon and Gil
Cattaneo.

Question about Final change deadline

Hi,

Tomorrow is F20 Final change deadline happening (according to
<a href="http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/20/Schedule" title="http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/20/Schedule">http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/20/Schedule</a>).

If I still have a few packages in updates-testing - will these be added
to the final compose later? Or these packages should be in stable by the
time of Final change deadline to hit the final compose?

Thanks!

Fedora 15 kernel 2.6.40-4 issues on EC2

Hi,

In BoxGrinder we're seeing some issues when upgrading to latest kernel on AMI's, which was reported here:

<a href="https://issues.jboss.org/browse/BGBUILD-289" title="https://issues.jboss.org/browse/BGBUILD-289">https://issues.jboss.org/browse/BGBUILD-289</a>

You can see in that ticket full boot log (console log in AWS terms) from a started instance with newest kernel. Jeremy pointed out that the issue may be related to newest kernel: 2.6.40-4:

[quote]

I came across this issue searching for a possibly related problem.

I had been running Fedora 15 on EC2 successfully using the 1.6 Boxgrinder AMI.
