403 Forbidden Error on Apache 2.4

Dear All,
Our Site is Public Site and there is no restriction @ any level. We are
using apache on top of Java based CMS (Tomcat Server).
Recently we upgraded Apache from 2.2.21 to 2.4.25. Where ever Order
allow, deny & Allow from all coming there we changed it to Require all
granted but root page only loading without any issue. We are getting 403
Forbidden Message on Rest of the Pages.

Help: Apache Crashing Everyday

Dear All,

We were runnig our site in PHP based CMS tool earlier, and normally 20-30K
users will access our sites daily. But in new system with Tomcat, we are
facing performance and availability issue frequently, when i access the
tomcat url directly the page is loading within 3seconds, but if we access
webServer URL then its taking more than 9seconds.

Also, Each day I am seeing more and more of these in my error_logs, and
when the Total Children value is reached 999 the Apache is not responding
and Server reboot only help to bring the site back.

I could see below errors on WebServer's Error Log, when the "total

Dear All,

We are using Java Based CMS with Tomcat (Application Server) & Apache HTTP

When the User hit the URL, the request will flow blow below:

All Static Files are stored under shared filesystem:

Dear All,

We are using Java Based CMS with Tomcat (Application Server) & Apache HTTP

Dear All,

We are using Apache with Tomcat (CMS) using mod_jk, also we are using
mod_cache to caching contents.
But some reason, we are facing extreme slowness on our site after enabled

stating that mod_cache.c(635): cache: < URL Path> not cached.

503 Message while configure Apache for VIP address

Hi,
We we have two Apache WebServers and Two Tomcat Servers
F5 LB Connect Both WebServerA & WebServerB
WebServerA Connect TomcatA
WebServerB Connect TomcatB

If Tomcat A failed and WebServerA is available then we are getting 503
Error Message. To avoid the Failover, we created LB(VIP) and Point to
TomcatA:8080 and TomcatB:8080

On WebServer's workers.properties and VirtualHost conf file, replaced
TomcatA and B details with LB Server Name. But We are getting 503 Error
while accessing the Site from WebServer. However, if I directly access LB
then its working.

Round Robin LoadBalance/Failover Configuration for Apache WebServers

Hi All,

Currently we have two webServers (WA and WB) and two Tomcat Servers (TA,
TB). WA configured for TA and WB configured for TB. How to configure
Loadbalance and Failover between these two Servers.

For Eg. WA is connected with TA, if TA failed then WA should connect TB,
Similarly WB connect TA if TB is failed.

It may simple, but I am new to Apache. Most of the LB example described for
1WEB and TWO AppServer. Kindly please help me to solve this problem

Given workers.properties details below.

based CMS System.

Help on Caching

Dear All,

I am new to Apache, our current system architecture is like Apache
WebServer->Tomcat Server-> DataBase & CMS & Apache Solr Search.

Currently to load a page is taking 40seconds to 1minutes by using WebServer
URL, however its taking lessthan 10Seconds by using Tomcat URL. We
connected Tomcat & HTTP by AJP 1.3

is there any way to caching the contents within Apache for Static contents.
So, it will load static content without communicate from Tomcat & other
systems using mod_cache, mod_disk_cache, mod_file_cache & mod_mem_cache?

Kindly please correct me if I am wrong.

Creating Context to point Local Directory to load files

Dear All,

Our System Architecture is Apache WebServer-> Tomcat-> CMS System.
we stored all our files under /files in CMS and this folder is shared
FileSystem. So, WebServer also can access it.

Currently if any images has to load on the site then first Apache sending
request to Tomcat and Tomcat Communicate CMS to load the file from
specified folder. To avoiding delay, we want to load directly from
WebServer.

In Tomcat we added context for /files to point /opt/apps/shared/cms/files.
Similarly can create any context in WebServer to point some local directory?

For eg. if <a href="http://abc" title="http://abc">http://abc</a>.

Help On RewriteRule

Hi,

I made below rewriteRule to redirect URL from
<a href="http://cmspweb1.com/sites/en_US/about/newsroom/2015/4" title="http://cmspweb1.com/sites/en_US/about/newsroom/2015/4">http://cmspweb1.com/sites/en_US/about/newsroom/2015/4</a> to
<a href="http://cmspweb1.com/sites/en_US/about/newsroom?year=2015&amp;month=4" title="http://cmspweb1.com/sites/en_US/about/newsroom?year=2015&amp;month=4">http://cmspweb1.com/sites/en_US/about/newsroom?year=2015&amp;month=4</a>.
Redirection is happening fine and In Address Bar we are getting From URL as
expected.

We have filtering option to select year & Month to view news articles.
