Running scripts from konqueror/dolphin

Hi List!

Since my upgrade to KDE 4.5 I've been having a weird problem running
shell scripts from within konqueror/dolphin. When I click on the with
the mouse, everything works fine and they are executed and perform as
expected. When I use the keyboard to select them and press Enter
(either enter key), they are opened in Kate.
Googling for this has resulted in nothing and browsing through the
bugs on bugs.kde.org wasn't very useful, either.

Software errors (Was: problem connecting to corporate LAN)

I got that. You were just making it sound a little too much like the
problem was unique to the Linux world for my taste.

You'd think so, but it sure doesn't seam like it sometimes.

That is just plain wrong. The distributors have as much control as
they want, due to the open nature of the code. In fact, go ask the
kernel devs how many distros they know that don't patch their
software... ;-)

As explained above, they are free to apply any patches they please.

Use DrKonqi instead of apport

Hi list!

I've been wondering for a while now if there is a way of using
DrKonqi (KDE bug reporting tool) instead of apport for KDE
applications and keep using apport for everything else.

The reason for this is, that apport doesn't work for the current KDE
version from the launchpad PPA. (Which is the way it's supposed to
be.) These bug reports shouldn't go to launchpad but to bugs.kde.org,
making apport a nuisance...
