Hi,

I want to have an openbox right click style menu in my gnome interface
rather than the standard gnome menu in the upper left hand corner. Is
there an easy way to do this, or an alternative method with a similar
menu system?

I want to take a screenshot of a remote machine without the use of VNC.
I have SSH setup so I can access the machine. But how do I go about
taking a desktop screenshot on a remote machine in ssh?

Hi Guys,

I am trying to remove the Bookmarks in the Places Menu (Documents,
Pictures, etc). I remove them but on reboot they reappear again. Any
ideas why this would be?

I have installed Mplayer SVN from the following PPA:

https://launchpad.net/~rvm/+archive/testing/+build/1318159

And now I get the following error message

mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libx264.so.67: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have check usr/libs and the library is there.

I have also tried to install older versions of Mplayer with no luck.

Any ideas?

And how the heck do I get to my boot menu, it just comes up with that
logo straight away?

I recently purchased an iriver p7 and I am finding the transfer speeds
to be ridiculously slow. The device itself acts as a removable device
like a standard usb stick. Anyhow, I am getting around 80k a sec
transfer speeds. I tried do transfer speeds under an XP VM and it runs
fine. Anyhow I am running 9.04 x64 if you need that information. Any
ideas on how to resolve such slow usb speeds.

I am having this issue after I installed Bandwidthd, I have been trying
to remove it for ages. But keep coming into this error. Have a look at it:

/cp: cannot stat `/usr/share/doc/bandwidthd/bandwidthd.conf': No
